The Library's Visual Interface (LVI) is a deity-made artifact available for mortal use. It permits the user to experience the gathered data of the Library.
On visual inspection, the LVI is a circular table containing a dish of silver liquid that does not seem to respond to any stimuli in the room (such as vibration provided by movement or air). The lip of the table is flat, black stone upon which is engraved a number of symbols. It is thought that these are instructions that can be interpreted by the Haiiro No Kodomo.
When activated, the LVI displays a physical representation of the event selected for viewing. If the user chooses to only watch the display, they will note an oppressive, inaudible noise.
The quicksilver pantomimes require touch to impart memory of sound, smell, emotion, and sensation. The amount of data delivered depends on the mental capacity of the individual using the device. When touching the LVI, the user is rendered unresponsive until the select data is imparted. <ref>Caldrov, Q.; Mir'ran, L. & Zetruvius, D.
