Daemon

A daemon is a libromancer that has chimerically modified himself beyond the point of return. Daemons should be approached with the utmost caution by qualified kill teams. Groups that have not received adequate training are unlikely to succeed in any endeavor to destroy the creature.

Though the practice was outlawed during the Prevari Era, one can still find rogue libromancers making illegal modifications. Most commonly, auxiliary brains are kept in boney protrusions from the skull. Subtle modification continues with most libromancer Orders, but it is the addition of supplementary, biological neurocomputing devices that the prohibition covers.
