Libromancy is one of the three main magic disciplines (along with Thaumaturgy and Theolurgy). It is characterized by long study and a hard-won understanding of the functions of cause-and-effect on a fundamental level. A practitioner of libromancy is called a libromancer.

History

The terms surrounding wizardry fell out of use during the Dvrask Era. As the understanding came about that the previous model for magic-users was flawed, new terms, including libromancy, were given birth and circulated into common use.
