One of the few elvish cities that openly invites humans, Elfholm wears the idealism of its citizens in its architectural style, blending that of human and elvish styles. It is home, throughout the centuries, to a variety of colorful characters seeking a quieter metropolis life than the theocratic Rak'Thul or the magocracy of Rak'Than can offer.

History

Elfholm was established Pre-Fall as a trade hub by a family of elves. The original route helped create a rest stop on the way between human establishments.

Geography

Elfholm is situated on the banks of the Mirrored Sea. Forests cover most of the nearby area, with a handful of human settlements within a day's journey.

Trade

Much of the city's foodstuffs are imported, and metals have become scarce in the area. However, this does not seem to put a damper on the local economy. Instead, many come to Elfholm to enjoy the work of the craftsman that make the city their residence.

Many of the craftsman are elves, retired masters of nearly any race can be found resting their hands in the city.

One of the main exports are elvish black pearls The local economy is bolstered heavily by the cultivation of these curious, which are used as both magical components and adornments.

Government

Elfholm is ruled by a hereditary council of the eldest of the main political families. There are between seven and twenty council members at any given time.
