The Coil of Blood is the traditional name of the poison created by the Goddess Abhirati. The main purpose of its creation was to deifacture a poison capable of draining the life-force from the gods.
It was first refined during the Second Goddess War, and was put into play by an assassin. The assassin, unsuccessful in her goal of destroying the Goddess Alanna, was apprehended outside Dead Circle.
Four vials are accounted for, the fifth being marked as unrecoverable within the time fissures.
