The '''University of Rak'Than''' is a semi-public educational institution for libromancers which resides with the [[City of Rak'Than|Rak'Than]]'s University District and City Seat. It was founded in the year 13500, and has continued in some capacity since that time.

While functionally separate from the government of Rak'Than, the University reports directly to the [[Grand Paragon]]. Traditionally, the Grand Paragon appoints the Counsel. The positions are for life, or until the Grand Paragon changes.
